Reconnecting to Food

I’ve been in the food business since I was a kid growing up on a farm. Our family raised our own produce and animals. I was involved in 4-H early on and learned about growing food. During my 31 year career in the food industry, I’ve worked in six different USDA inspected food manufacturing plants and have worked in sales, R&D, marketing, production, packaging and the culinary art of cooking food.  Food unites us!  That’s what I love about working in the food industry. We may have a lot of differences but we all love to eat good food.​ My mission with FoodChat and in life is to reconnect people to food.
